Austria

Our first trip to Austria was planned for us to hike in the Alps. After two days of torrential rain, we gave up and went to the sun in Lake Garda instead. Since then we've been back several times, but I can't recall ever having particularly good weather? But Vienna in its Christmas colors is adorably beautiful, the Alps are always beautiful (unless the clouds are low), and Hallstatt and Salzburg are real gems.
