Iceland is magnificent, unique and incredibly beautiful. We visited the island during Easter 2018 and were greeted by a country that rather felt like another planet. Thanks to the fact that we had planned our trip in detail with a rental car, apartment hotel and partially brought food from Sweden, the trip was not particularly expensive. So don't be put off by all the articles that write about how much everything costs!
