Olympic National Park – Washington – USA
– July 2010 –
The fog rolls in over the logs on the beaches and the rain forest in Olympic National park is greener than usual. At summer, the meadows on top of Hurricane Ridge slowly wakes up after a long winter’s rest and the last snow finally melts away on the trails. In July, nature just feeds itself in the sun’s rays. The vampires from Twilight seems to be on vacation, although there is a steady stream of teenage girls visiting this magical national park. The friendly mountain goats don’t seem to care about the increasing amount of tourists, but the week before we hiked the Hurricane Ridge a wild goat attacked an unsuspecting tourist. Let’s just take a seat and have a picnic and enjoy the view. Hope the goats don’t like chicken salad.
